REQUIREMENTS:
1. Material: Bar: Corrosion resisting steel class 305, condition "A", cold drawn per ASTM A-580.
2. Passivate by immersion in 2 percent solution sodium dichromate in nitric acid, concentration 15 to 25 percent by volume for 15 to 30 minutes at a temperature of 115 5 F.
3. Dry film lubricate per MIL-L-46010.
4. Wire shall be straight within .020 TIM.
5. Surface roughness not to exceed 125 in Ra. Surface finish shall be in accordance with ASME B46.1.
6. Unless otherwise specified, radius or break all corners .005 +.005-.000. Remove all burs and slivers. NOTES:
