6.4 Modified ACME coupling nut threads. Modified ACME threads are used on application where a quick
make and break joint is desired (see 3.10.1).
6.5 Contract data requirements. When this specification is used in a procurement which incorporates a
DD Form 1423 and invokes the provisions of Data Requirements of the DoD Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) paragraph 252.227-7031, the data requirements should be developed as specified by
an approved Data Item Description (DD Form 1664) and delivered in accordance with the Contract Data
