PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
CLAMP, REPAIR, PIPE: WITH FUEL-RESISTANT GASKET
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of clamps one for split application and
the other for pinhole application over damaged petroleum pipelines.
1.2 Classification. Clamps are of the following types, and sizes, as specified (see 6.2):
1.2.1 Types. The type of repair clamps are as follows:
Type I

Split application repair clamp
Type II -
Pinhole application repair clamp for bullet-hole leaks
